When young wife Tess Beckett (Melissa Crider, Mulholland Drive) testifies against her cop-turned-serial killer husband Jim (Tim Abell, Sons of Anarchy). He is sent to prison for life. Jim plots violent revenge and breaks out of prison to make Tess pay for her betrayal with Detective Difford (Kadeem Hardison, Drive) on his trail. When Tess learns of the escape, she knows that the only way for her to survive is to learn to protect herself, so she turns to former cop and self-defense trainer J.T.
